“Giving children the most valuable things” reminds all members in Soong Ching Ling Kindergarten. We regard the child-care job as one of the most important things in our daily work and put it into practice in the daily routines. 保教结合
一个合格的保育老师在生活照护和幼儿生活技能培养目标方面所要学习的内容非常多。我们常说“一日生活皆教育”，她们不仅要给到孩子生活上足够的支持，也担当着引导孩子学会自我照顾技能的主力军角色。在义宋幼凡是幼儿自己能做的，都让幼儿自己做，在日常工作中融入宋幼的“劳动课程”“小先生课程”，在日常中学习用餐礼仪，争做值日生，学会整理，正确洗手，养成节约等良好习惯。此外，让幼儿在观察大便、小便的颜色，发挥厕所的生活教育功能。发展自主性与自我服务能力，做一个有责任感的孩子。
A qualified nursery teacher can learn a lot from life care and how to improve children's independent abilities. As a saying goes, every day’s life is education. Nursery teachers should not only give supports in daily life to children, but also teach them how to take care of themselves. We encourage children to do everything that they can do by themselves. In the aspect of daily work, we add our featured curriculum such as labor courses and “little teachers” in order to help children to learn table manners, the way to clean themselves after going to toilets and lead them to develop good habits of saving water and tissue. Besides, we teach children to recognize different colors of their feces and pee with the purpose of fully using the function of living teaching. It is important to develop children’s autonomy and self-service ability and help them to become a responsible child.
术业有专攻
在义宋幼，每一位保育老师都是宝藏老师，有着满满的专业技能，她们有小儿推拿师、护士、育婴师、专业英语....等等，每周必不可少的培训和学习卫生消毒方法、幼儿进餐管理、秋冬季节幼儿护理的要点、疾病预防知识等各个方面的保育保健知识，让保育在孩子们成长的道路上更好地为其保驾护航。
Every nursery teacher in Yiwu Soong Ching Ling Kindergarten is well equipped, among whom there are pediatric masseurs, nursery teachers. Some of them even studied English in university. Every week they have professional training, such as the way of disinfection, management of children’s meals, the importance of children’s caring, diseases prevention etc. They play an important role of keeping children safe and sound as they grow up.

晨、午检
一摸：摸摸幼儿头额部有无发热；
二看：精神状态、面色有无异常。
三问：饮食、睡眠、大小便有无异常情况；
四查：查看是否有无携带不安全的物品。
First step: touch children’s front to check whether they have fever or not.
Second step: see their mental and physiological states.
Third step: ask if there is something wrong with their diet, sleep, defecation.
Fourth step: check if they bring unsafe stuff with them.
进 餐
进餐前消毒，保育老师首先清洗双手，毛巾“清消清”三遍消毒餐桌，进餐过程中关注体弱儿、关注幼儿习惯的养成以及餐后的整理工作。
Before meals, nursery teachers need to wash hands firstly and then to disinfect tables for three times. During the meal, they also need to pay attention to kids who have some trouble in eating and to lead children to develop good habits. After all of these, they need to clear up.
午 睡
午睡前，先关上窗，拉好窗帘，检查孩子口中是否有异物，午睡中巡视，观察孩子的脸色，呼吸，起床关窗，帮助孩子穿衣并整理衣服，整理被子。
Before nap time, nursery teachers need to close windows and draw the curtains firstly and then to check if there are objects in children’s mouth. During the nap, they need to observe children’s faces and breath. When children wake up, they help children to get dressed and make beds.
户外活动
提前摆放户外器械，检查器械的损坏并观察孩子的安全，观察孩子的运动量，容易出汗的孩子先垫好毛巾，提醒孩子多喝水，体弱孩子适量减少活动量。
Before going outside, nursery teachers need to put all equipment in order and check if there are something broken to keep children safe. During outdoor activities, they observe children’s amount of exercise. As to children who sweat much, they help them to wear sweatband and remind them drinking more water. As to children who are weak in exercise, they will pay attention to reducing their amount of exercise.
孩子眼中的“妈妈”
作为在班级中一名非常重要的照顾者，保育老师也要求具备专业的照顾方法，并且根据每个孩子的不同特点选择合适的方法。比如:遇到没有安全感的孩子时需要积极的温暖的回应，抱一抱，哄一哄等等。
They are like second mothers in eyes of children. As an important role, the nursery teacher is asked to have professional child-care methods based on different personalities of each child. For example, when facing children who don’t have enough sense of safety, nursery teachers need to give responses in time, like giving him a hug or comforting him.

In Soong Ching Ling Kindergarten, nursery teachers are unknown to public, but they are always the first one to help children in need. Nursery teachers are like screws.
